Isn't this lack of application of talmudic knowledge on natural remedies telling us that we have to go back to basics and explore the fundaments of healing as given in the Torah, which, if understood, would no doubt provide a solution to this crisis, because they directly point to homeopathy and to other forms of biological medicine as the only true art of healing, perfectly capable of healing this little bug. Even if the remedies of old are not available now, the principles of healing are eternal, and they are expressed pretty faithfully in homeopathy. But many rabbis don't take the time to understand these fundamentals of healing given in the Torah, and so they are forfeiting the gifts that God gives us, and in doing so they keep the people divided and in the dark because they cannot give good recommendations. See Hosea 4:6 if you do not believe me. Any form of medicine that suppresses symptoms, with few exceptions, is not from God because it is not truly healing. We must go back to God for healing (Exodus 15:26; 23:25). There is no other way if we really believe the Torah. Isn't that a mitsvah?
