Up until this point we have learnt about applying Bitachon, a Faith-filled Trusting attitude towards the concepts of personal income and one’s livelihood. From obtaining the most basic of needs, to extra comforts and even opulence and luxury.
Now, we will begin to learn how to apply Bitachon to the third category, social interaction, and relationships with other. What is the correct attitude for one to adopt when finding themselves with or perhaps without family or friends?
Rabbeinu Bachaya will begin by teaching us how we can cope with solitude and loneliness. Faithfully highlighting a Trust-based coping strategy with which to face the challenges of lonesomeness.
