Can learning about the Beit HaMikdash actually help build it?
In this powerful Torah discussion, I explore the Rambam’s mitzvah to build the Beit HaMikdash, the eternal meaning of “Ve’asu Li Mikdash”, and the profound teaching of the Rebbe that when we study and speak about the Beit HaMikdash, it is considered as though we are actively involved in building it.
Even in exile, when we cannot physically build the Beit HaMikdash, the mitzvah remains alive. Through Torah study, focus, and yearning for Geulah, we participate in a very real spiritual building process — preparing ourselves and the world for the Third Beit HaMikdash with the coming of Moshiach.
May we merit to see it rebuilt speedily in our days. Amen!
