In the previous Episode we arrived at an understand of meaning of being G-d’s Emissary, as per the Torah truism “Goodness comes through the Good.”
Rabbeinu Bachaya now furthers this idea by showing us how one ‘Lives with Trust’ when in a position of employment or fulfilling a task on someone else’s behalf.
A person whose attituded is infused with the faithful spirit of Bitachon fulfills the job according to the best of their ability and knows that just as credit cannot be taken for success, neither can blame for failure be accepted either.
The most important thing is to do your best. And if we make sincere efforts neither success nor failure should be attributed to us.
