We’ve already resolved that living one’s life with true Trust necessarily engenders an inner calm and serenity. This is resultant of the certainty that Hashem will always provide appropriate sustenance.

Having Bitachon is thusly defined as maintaining perfect conviction in, and fully rely on, G-d who will grant us the prosperity we need.

Subscribing to this measure of Trust is to know that G-d to provides our basic needs.

Yet, we all know of copious examples in which G-d provides certain individuals with far greater abundance than they could ever possibly require. The natural philosophical question to pose would then be: Why?!

Simply stated, if each of G-d’s creatures is supposed to receive what they require, why would G-d orchestrate things such that some receiving obscene excesses?

Asking this question isn’t merely academic. Nor is it merely a matter of philosophical pontification, exercise in theoretical theology. Perfecting our Bitachon will require a cogent explanation to why the wealth, gaining clarity, and choosing to do the right thing!
