From Deluge to Deliverance

A shower of uplifting Torah teachings provides a fresh perspective on the raging waters of Noach’s Flood — revealing them not as a story of destruction, but as a cleansing prelude to the blossoming of Messianic Redemption itself.

This episode launches the Home Stretch of ANTICIPATION, a 120-part series exploring the Twelfth Principle of Jewish Faith: the belief in — and importance of — awaiting the coming of Moshiach (the Messiah).

Episode 89 begins the final “LEV” (heart) sequence ~ the last 32 segments ~ where each class fuses themes from the weekly Torah portion or timely festival with the universal teachings of Moshiach and Geulah (Redemption).

Here we synergize the Chassidic maxim to “live with the times” with the Rebbe’s directive to uncover the redemptive and uplifting messages that awaken our yearning for, and thereby hasten, the long-awaited era of global peace and perfection.

We begin with a striking paradox: the Torah’s gloomiest portion, shadowed by the Mabul’s deadly deluge, is in truth the original wellspring of the life-affirming light of Messianic joy!

Highlighting the unique opening of Parshat Noach, we uncover its allusion to the Torah’s teaching about the six millennia of worldly existence followed by the seventh millennium — the cosmic Shabbos of universal serenity.

From there, a cascade of redemptive Torah insights unfolds — mystical and heavenly, yet simultaneously practical and actionable — guiding us to become active participants in hastening that serene and sacred future.

✨ This class marks the first step of a 32-part journey discovering redemptive messages within the weekly Parsha and Chagim — continuing our quest to illuminate the path toward the Final Redemption.

This is the Eighty Ninth offering of our ongoing study series about the (final) Redemption, referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah); bringing us practical guidance and instruction of how to get us there faster!
