Episode Eighty-One: THE FINAL REVELATION
In this landmark episode, we continue exploring the extraordinary nature of our present era—referred to by our Sages as “Ikvasa d’Meshicha”, the Footsteps leading into the Messianic Era. This time is metaphorically likened to Erev Shabbat, the twilight before the dawn of the ultimate, eternal Shabbat—the cosmic day of redemptive serenity.
The title of this episode—The Final Revelation—alludes to a remarkable prophecy recorded in the Zohar (Parshas Vayeira 117a), foretelling that in the 600th year of the sixth millennium (1840 CE), “the gates of wisdom from above and the fountains of wisdom from below would be opened.” This prophecy is widely understood to describe the unprecedented spiritual and scientific revelations that would flood the world in preparation for Moshiach.
In the previous episode, Opening the Floodgates, we unpacked this prophecy, explaining how the “wisdom from above” refers to a profound spiritual outpouring—epitomized by the Chassidic revolution and the revelation of Pnimiyus HaTorah, the inner soul of Torah, particularly through the teachings of Chabad Chassidus.
But this brings us to the elephant in the room:
If these deepest secrets of Torah are so vital, why were they concealed for so long? Why are they only being revealed now?
In this episode, we confront that very question. At first glance, it seems counterintuitive: shouldn’t the most elevated spiritual truths have been accessible earlier in Jewish history—when Torah giants walked the earth?
We’ll discover that it is precisely because “Everything in Its Time” that these revelations are occurring now. In fact, this long-awaited era—our era—was always destined to be the one in which the secrets are unsealed.
Far from being a spiritual afterthought, the inner dimension of Torah—once hidden—is now being revealed precisely because our generation needs it most. As we near the final redemption, this deep light becomes both our preparation and empowerment.
We’ll explore the personal and collective implications of this Final Revelation:
