The Three Weeks are not only a time of mourning — they are a time to rebuild.

As we enter the period between Shivah Asar B’Tammuz and Tisha B’Av, we remember the breaching of Jerusalem’s walls, the destruction of the Beis HaMikdash, and the long exile that followed. But Torah teaches us that this time is not meant to leave us frozen in sadness. It is a call to move from reflection to redemption.

In this inspiring message, I explain the Rebbe’s emphasis on studying the laws and structure of the Beis HaMikdash, especially during the Three Weeks. Drawing on the Midrash and Rambam’s Hilchos Beis HaBechirah, we discover that learning about the Holy Temple is not merely an act of memory — it is a spiritual form of building.

When we study the Beis HaMikdash, yearn for its return, and increase in Torah, mitzvos, and light, we actively prepare the world for the coming of Moshiach and the rebuilding of the Third Beis HaMikdash.

May these Three Weeks be transformed into days of joy and celebration with the coming of Moshiach, speedily in our days.

Shabbat Shalom.
