Studying Sha’ar HaBitachon, Rabbeinu Bachaya’s “Gate of Trust” ~ the Timeless Torah Book that can teach US ALL to How to Live with Certainty and Discover Tranquility!

Chapter Four, Part Seven: “SUICIDE SQUAD”

Having Trust means identifying with Hashem’s management of- and control of – who lives and who doesn’t. Does this mean that whoever commits suicide was going to die anyway? After all, since we believe that everything is in Hashem’s hands and death is predestined, why can’t we choose to take risks and place ourselves in danger?

To be sure, this is a huge Trust issue, and clarifying it is of great importance because otherwise Bitachon can be used to justify downright sinful behavior.

Yet, once the conversation has been opened, the ideas presented will certainly illuminate related timely issues like Suicide, Doctor Assisted Death and what’s referred to today as “End-of-Life” decisions from a Torah-True perspective.

This Episode is the Seventh segment of the Fourth Chapter of “The Gate of Trust;” comprising the 81st consecutive video of this ongoing series.
