Placing Trust in Hashem doesn’t mean sitting on our hands folded and waiting for miracles. G-d runs the world but often will challenge us to make herculean efforts to obtain our livelihood. Yet these very challenges must be viewed as opportunities, that are orchestrated from on High to allow us the privilege of being Free to Choose Right!

Ultimately, the hardships are beneficial, for if all our needs were effortlessly available, we would never fully appreciate the true gift of life. As a direct result of overcoming the many tests we face, we are each granted the ability to savour personal achievement!
These uplifting insights into why Hashem makes it so hard for us obtain our Parnassa (material sustenance) will make it easier to overcome our trials, tribulations, and travails, giving us a positive new way to view life’s challenges and difficulties!
